We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine coconut aminos, lime juice, olive oil, minced lemongrass, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, chopped basil, grated ginger, turmeric powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • Step 2: Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.

  • Step 3: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  • Step 4: Remove the chicken drumsticks from the marinade and shake off any excess liquid. Reserve the marinade for basting.

  • Step 5: Place the drumsticks on the preheated grill and cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice charred exterior.

  • Step 6: While grilling, baste the drumsticks with the reserved marinade every few minutes for added flavor and moisture.

  • Step 7: Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

  • Step 8: Serve the grilled Thai lemongrass chicken drumsticks with lime wedges on the side. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
