Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (18 1/2 oz.) package German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (refrigerate the rest for another time or another one of these cakes!)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup Smucker's caramel sauce
  • 1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 to 4 Heath bars, crushed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

  • Step 2: Prepare cake mix as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. After 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Continue baking until cake is baked.

  • Step 3: While cake is still hot, poke holes in it with handle of wooden spoon or large-holes straw. Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake; let cool. Top with caramel sauce, then whipped topping. Sprinkle with candy bars. 1

  • Step 4: When cake is cooled top with caramel sauce, then whipped topping. Sprinkle with candy bars --- OMG!!!!!
