Step 1: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well. Add the olive oil and warm water. Stir until the dough comes together.
Step 3: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic. Shape the dough into a ball.
Step 4: Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Take each portion and press it into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup, creating a small dough cup.
Step 5: In a small bowl, prepare the pizza sauce by combining the tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Step 6: Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each dough cup, spreading it evenly.
Step 7: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce in each cup. Then evenly distribute the diced ham, pineapple chunks, and sliced jalapenos on top.
Step 8: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 9: Remove the pizza muffins from the oven and let them cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves, if desired.
Step 10: Carefully remove the Spicy Hawaiian Pizza Muffins from the muffin tin and serve them warm.
