We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, lime juice, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.

  • Step 3: Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the marinade mixture over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Reserve some marinade for basting later.

  • Step 4: Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste the fillets with the reserved marinade halfway through the cooking time.

  • Step 5: Once cooked, remove the tilapia from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

  • Step 6: Transfer the tilapia fillets to serving plates. Garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro.

  • Step 7: Serve with lime wedges on the side.
