Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces frozen whole kernel corn (1 package)
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 8 ounces frozen okra
  • 14 ounces fire roasted tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rub entire surface of beef roast with Cajun seasoning.

  • Step 2: Pam spray slow cooker.

  • Step 3: Place roast in slow cooker.

  • Step 4: Top with corn, okra, celery, onion and bell pepper.

  • Step 5: In small bowl combine tomatoes, pepper and hot sauce mix well and pour over vegetables, adding water if needed.

  • Step 6: Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.
