The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 30 ounces black beans (2 cans, 15 ounces each)
  • 15 ounces fire roasted chili tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup thick and chunky salsa
  • Toppings
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup avocado, chopped
  • 2 ounces sour cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pam spray the crockpot.

  • Step 2: Put everything in except the salsa & topping.

  • Step 3: Cook on low 8 hours.

  • Step 4: Last hour put in salsa and add water if needed.

  • Step 5: Season to taste

  • Step 6: Serve with topping.
