How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan and add frozen edamame.

  • Step 2: Return the water to a boil and cook 3 minutes, then drain and cool.

  • Step 3: Serve edamame drizzled with ponzu and sprinkled with lemon zest, red pepper flakes to taste and flaked salt.

  • Step 4: To eat, pull the shells through your teeth, drawing the beans out, and discarding the shell.
