How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the buffalo jerky, sunflower seeds, corn nuts, dried chokecherries or cranberries, roasted pumpkin seeds, dried bison or beef jerky, toasted wheat crackers or pretzel sticks, and dried sage leaves. Toss to mix well.

  • Step 3: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if desired), and salt to taste.

  • Step 4: Pour the honey and spice mixture over the snack mix in the large bowl. Stir and toss until all the ingredients are evenly coated.

  • Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
