Step 1: Add the whole wheat macaroni, water, butter, avocado oil, chicken bouillon powder, dried herbs, garlic powder, and onion powder to the Instant Pot.
Step 2: Stir well to combine and ensure the macaroni is evenly coated.
Step 3: Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to the sealing position.
Step 4: Cook the macaroni on high pressure for half of the regular stovetop cooking time indicated on the package. Whole wheat macaroni generally requires a slightly longer cooking time, so adjust accordingly.
Step 5: Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick pressure release by carefully turning the valve to venting.
Step 6: When the pressure has fully released, carefully open the Instant Pot lid.
Step 7: Give the macaroni a good stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8: Garnish with fresh chopped herbs.
