  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons dried sliced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margerine
  • 3-5 teaspoon milk
  • 4 tablespoons french dry fried onions

How to Make

  • Step 1: Peel the potatoes, cut into quarters boil until tender

  • Step 2: About 5 minutes before the potatoes are fully cooked add the dried garlic to the saucepan, continue cooking until the potatoes are done

  • Step 3: When the potatoes are fully cooked drain well, roughly mash them. You do not want the potatoes totally smooth

  • Step 4: Add butter and a drop or two of milk if they are too dry

  • Step 5: Just before serving stir in the fried onions
