Ingredients

  • Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Glaze
  • 3 dried chilis
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 teaspoon water
  • Chopped green onions garnish
  • Sesame seeds garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400

  • Step 2: In a large bowl place all meatball ingredients and mix

  • Step 3: Roll into one inch balls

  • Step 4: Place on baking sheet and cook 20-22 minutes or cooked through

  • Step 5: Combine all glaze ingredients except cornstarch slurry in a pan over medium heat

  • Step 6: Pour in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.

  • Step 7: Put meat balls in pan and let the glaze coat them.
