  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Streusal Topping
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter in small cubes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grease a 9x13 baking dish and place cubed bread in it

  • Step 2: In a large bowl mix all ingredients from maple syrup to salt

  • Step 3: Pour over the bread soaking each piece

  • Step 4: Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate one hour or over night

  • Step 5: Preheat oven to 350

  • Step 6: Make the streusal topping

  • Step 7: Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until crumbly
