Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Toss together the pork cubes and cornstarch in a large bowl and mix until well coated.
Step 3: In a Dutch oven or heavy bottom oven proof pot, melt the bacon drippings over medium heat.
Step 4: Add the coated pork cubes and brown on all sides.
Step 5: Add the vegetables, and meat marinade and stir to combine.
Step 6: Add the water and tomato vegetable cocktail and stir again to coat.
Step 7: Cover the Dutch oven or pot and place in the preheated oven; cook for 2 hours, stirring halfway through the cook time. If the liquid has reduced add some water, you want your stew covered at least 3/4 of the way.
Step 8: When cooked, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 9: Enjoy!
