Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 ounce package tri-color coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage, shredded red cabbage & shredded carrot mix)
  • 3 ounce package real crumbled bacon pieces, use more or less as desired
  • 6 ounce package roasted sunflower kernels, use more or less as desired
  • 25 ounce bottle Marie Calendar's Chunky Blue Cheese dressing (or your favorite blue cheese dressing)
  • 2-3 tablespoons red wine vinegar, optional
  • Black pepper, optional
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Empty packages of coleslaw mix, bacon crumbles and sunflower kernels into a large bowl (preferably with a lid).

  • Step 2: Stir in salad dressing until well-coated (don't just dump in the entire bottle of salad dressing... keep adding it in and stirring until you're happy with how much much dressing coats the cabbage and it tastes right).

  • Step 3: Add vinegar & black pepper, to taste, if using.

  • Step 4: Cover and refrigerate until serving. It's best if you serve shortly after preparing, so the seeds still have some crunch.
