How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare the brownies per the directions on the package in a greased 9x13 baking pan. Remove from oven and let it cool while you make the next layer.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and makes a soft dough. Drop spoonfuls over the still-warm brownies and spread evenly with an offset spatula.

  • Step 3: Make the ganache: In a heatproof bowl, place the chocolate chips and the heavy cream. Heat in the microwave for one minute. Stir until all the chips are melted and smooth. Immediately pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly with the offset spatula.

  • Step 4: Refrigerate at least 2 hours, then cut into bars while still cold.
