The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup ghirardelli cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips,(nestle)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  • Step 2: In a bowl

  • Step 3: Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt and stir in oats.

  • Step 4: Using an electric mixer or food processor, beat butter with sugars until light and fluffy.

  • Step 5: Beat in chocolate powder until combined well. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition and then beat in vanilla.

  • Step 6: Add flour mixture, beating until just combined.

  • Step 7: Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Step 8: On ungreased baking sheets, drop rounded tablespoons of dough about 2” apart. Bake in middle of oven about 12 minutes.
