  • The following recipe serves 3-4 people.

Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 2 Tablespoons Knorr's Tomato Bouillon with Chicken Flavor Granules
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1-2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese (I generously shake the Parmesan into the mixture without measuring)
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup jarred pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 12 frozen meatballs (homemade or store bought)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: In a deep baking dish, add all of the ingredients except the frozen meatballs; stir well.

  • Step 3: Place the frozen meatballs over the rice mixture evenly (I do three rows of four meatballs).

  • Step 4: Tightly cover the baking dish with foil and bake until rice is tender and the meatballs are cooked through (about one hour).

  • Step 5: When serving, sprinkle with additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
