Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5-6 pound beef brisket
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounce jar chili sauce
  • 2 15 ounce cans of jellied cranberry sauce
  • 12 ounce bottle of beer
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • Step 2: In large pan, sauté sliced onions and garlic in oil until browned.

  • Step 3: Remove onions and garlic from pan, salt and pepper the brisket and sear using the same pan.

  • Step 4: Once seared on all sides, add onions and garlic under the brisket.

  • Step 5: Add chili sauce, cranberry sauce, beer, cider vinegar.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle top of brisket with brown sugar.

  • Step 7: Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 3.5 hours.

  • Step 8: Refrigerate overnight and slice the next day.
