Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 celery stalks, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, peeled , finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 8 ounces dry egg noodles
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in stockpot

  • Step 2: Add onion

  • Step 3: Add garlic and cook until onion softens, approximately 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add celery, carrot, cook until softened

  • Step 5: Add lemon pepper, and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil.

  • Step 6: Reduced heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Step 7: Add noodles and simmer for 10 minutes

  • Step 8: Season to taste with the salt and black pepper as needed.

  • Step 9: Add to soup

  • Step 10: Parsley and lemon zest.
