Step 1: Fry bacon in skillet
Step 2: Cool
Step 3: Crumble into small pieces.
Step 4: Set aside for serving.
Step 5: Sauté onions in 2 tablespoons bacon grease until golden.
Step 6: Add garlic salt, onion salt, okra, tomatoes, Ro-tel, parsley flakes, salt and pepper.
Step 7: Season to taste
Step 8: Mix well.
Step 9: Simmer on low uncovered 1 1/2 hours.
Step 10: Add water as needed
Step 11: Last 20 minutes
Step 12: Prepare rice according to package directions
Step 13: Serve cooked mixture over rice.
Step 14: Top with crumbled bacon.
