We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Slice the buns in half. In a small bowl combine the soft butter with garlic. Spread over the sliced part of all 4 halves. Place in a hot skillet and toast until browned (about 2 minutes) set aside.

  • Step 2: In the same skillet (adding in oil or butter if you like) saute the sliced onions, bell pepper and sliced mushrooms until softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove to a bowl. Add in sliced beef and toss to heat through.

  • Step 3: To assemble the sandwich; pile the beef onto one side of the toasted bun, then top with onion mixture, sliced jalapenos then top with sliced cheese. Place on a baking sheet. Place until the broiler heat to melt cheese (about 1 minute). Serve
