  • .5 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • .25 teaspoon salt
  • .25 teaspoon baking powder
  • .25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • .5 cup soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 teaspoon vanilla
  • .5 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon maraschino cherry syrup
  • 48 maraschino cherries

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine first 5 ingredients.

  • Step 2: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.

  • Step 3: Add egg and vanilla, mix well.

  • Step 4: Add dry ingredients, mix well.

  • Step 5: Heat chocolate chips and milk in a pan until melted.

  • Step 6: Stir in cherry syrup.

  • Step 7: Form dough in 1" balls and place on cookie sheet.

  • Step 8: Use thumb to make a depression in cookie. Spoon 1 t og chocolate syrup into depression and top with a cherry.

  • Step 9: Bake @350° for 10 minutes.
