Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup beer, warm and flat
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoons grainy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 1/4 cup bread flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put all ingredients in the bread maker (except bacon) in order recommended by machine manufacturer. Set on raisin/nut cycle or dough cycle. (or select basic/white cycle and use medium or light crust color. Do not use delay cycles.)

  • Step 2: Add bacon at the raisin/nut signal or, if your machine doesn't have this cycle 5 to 10 minutes before last kneading cycle ends.

  • Step 3: Remove bread to wire rack and cool before slicing.
