  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, smashed
  • 6 ounces bacon,(6 slices),diced
  • 2 jalapenos, minced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon caldo de tomate boullion
  • 1 teaspoon salt,to taste
  • 6 cups water, (enough to cover the beans completely)
  • Garnish:
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro , minced
