Step 1: Mix the water with the coarse salt and microwave for 3 minutes. Stir well until salt is completely dissolve and allow to cool completely.
Step 2: Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. Do not skip this or you will have tough ribs.
Step 3: Place the ribs and salt water in a large re-sealable bag; remove as much air as possible, seal and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. (Do not leave them in the brine for longer then 2 hours or they will be too salty.)
Step 4: Remove the ribs from salt water and pat dry.
Step 5: Preheat air fryer for 2 minutes.
Step 6: Place the ribs in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes until they have a light brown crispy crust on the outside. Give it a good shake at about the 10 minute mark.
Step 7: Whisk together the BBQ sauce and Frank’s RedHot sauce in a large bowl and toss with the ribs.
Step 8: Enjoy!
