  • 1 pound dry white navy beans
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 8 cups water
  • Crockpot:
  • 1 can(28 ounces) tomatoes, diced, undrained
  • 1 can (16 ounces) tomatoes, whole
  • 1 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed ,can add more
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 3 ounces bacon, minced ,(3 slices,raw)
  • 6 ounces ham , diced
  • 1⁄2 cup water
  • 1⁄2 cup ketchup
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cover beans with water and the baking soda.

  • Step 2: Soak overnight

  • Step 3: Drain in the morning.

  • Step 4: Put into Pam sprayed crockpot

  • Step 5: Add the rest of the ingredients.

  • Step 6: Cook on low for 8 hours

  • Step 7: Add water as needed

  • Step 8: Season to taste
