Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Step 2: For the cake; in a large bowl using an electric mixer at medium speed beat ALL cake ingredients until well combined. Pour into pan. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool completely.
Step 3: For frosting; pour the half and half cream into a deep, narrow-bottom mixer bowl; add whipped topping mix and pudding mix. Beat slowly until well blended. Gradually increase beating speed to high and whip until mixture will form soft peaks (about4 to 6 minutes). Spread over colled cake. Store frosted cake in refrigerator.
