  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 cups chopped, partially mashed, banana

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.

  • Step 2: Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened (batter will be very dry looking at this point).

  • Step 3: Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts, and bananas.

  • Step 4: Pour into greased bundt pan.

  • Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean.

  • Step 6: Allow to cool before removing from pan, enjoy as is or frost as desired.
