Step 1: Cut ripe but firm bananas into slices.
Step 2: Place in glass jar.
Step 3: Top with rums and shake.
Step 4: Seal the lid and let sit for at least 3 days.
Step 5: Shaking once a day
Step 6: When the infusing time is finished
Step 7: Strain out the bananas and throw away.
Step 8: You may need a fine mesh sieve to get all the particles out.(coffee filter)
Step 9: Heat the sugar and water on the stove, bring to a boil.
Step 10: Let sit to cool.
Step 11: Pour the rum infusion and the simple syrup into a clean jar
