  • 3 cups quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 ounces frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed,(1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup dark raisins
  • 2 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cup water, warm
  • 1 banana, mashed,ripe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 2: Mix oatmeal, flour, baking powder and apple juice in large bowl until lumps are gone.

  • Step 3: Stir in cinnamon, raisins and chocolate chips.

  • Step 4: Combine vanilla and water.

  • Step 5: Add to oatmeal mixture.

  • Step 6: Stir in mashed banana.

  • Step 7: Let it stand for 15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Spray several cookie sheets with non-stick spray. Mix batter again.

  • Step 9: Drop by teaspoonful on prepared cookie sheets, leaving 1-inch between cookies.

  • Step 10: Cookies will not expand much during baking.

  • Step 11: Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.

  • Step 12: Remove cookies from cookie sheet
