  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 2 cartons (64 ounces)chicken stock,(32 ounces each)
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1)2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 bag(16 ounce) frozen home style noodles

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place all ingredients, except noodles, in slow cooker.

  • Step 2: Cook on low for 6 hours until chicken is cooked.

  • Step 3: Remove chicken

  • Step 4: Debone and shred.

  • Step 5: Return to slow cooker and cook 1 hour.

  • Step 6: Toss noodles with a tablespoon of cornstarch

  • Step 7: Add noodles and cook 30-45 minutes until tender. Check for seasoning
