Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Dip:
  • 8 ounces sour cream,(1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce, or more to taste
  • Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup apple butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Line a baking sheet with foil.

  • Step 3: In a medium bowl,

  • Step 4: Whisk together apple butter, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and Dijon;

  • Step 5: Set aside.

  • Step 6: In a large bowl

  • Step 7: Combine wings, vegetable oil, brown sugar, garlic, onion and chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper, to taste.

  • Step 8: Place wings onto prepared baking sheet and baste apple butter glaze on one side of the wings.

  • Step 9: Place into oven and bake for 25 minutes, using metal tongs to turn at halftime and basting with apple butter glaze on other side of wings.

  • Step 10: To make the dipping sauce,

  • Step 11: Whisk together sour cream and Sriracha.

  • Step 12: Serve wings immediately with dipping sauce, if desired.
