Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 1 cup celery,chopped
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms,sliced,(1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 4 cups water
  • 8 ounces cooked chicken breast, chopped
  • 6 ounces bow tie pasta noodles, small, (2 cups partially cooked)
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of chicken soup 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 2 ounces light cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in soup pot

  • Step 2: Saute vegetables with poultry seasoning until onions are tender.

  • Step 3: Add chicken and noodles.

  • Step 4: Cover with 4 cups of water.

  • Step 5: Add parsley

  • Step 6: Add chicken soup (rinsing out can with water)and bouillon cubes.

  • Step 7: Bring to a boil and reduce heat.

  • Step 8: Simmer until warmed and noodles are fully cooked 20 minutes

  • Step 9: Last 5 minutes add enough half and half to top off soup
