  • 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans ,drained
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 box (8 ounces) cornbread mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 4 ounces sour cream (1/4 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  • Step 2: Brown onion and ground beef in skillet

  • Step 3: Mix corn bread mix

  • Step 4: Drain beef if needed

  • Step 5: Season to taste

  • Step 6: Add beans and soup

  • Step 7: Rinse out can with water

  • Step 8: Add to beef mixture

  • Step 9: Top this with cornbread

  • Step 10: Bake 35 minutes until cornbread is cooked
