Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2: Heat oil in a large skillet .
Step 3: Add onion and cook 3-4 minutes,
Step 4: Add ground beef, salt and pepper to taste
Step 5: And cook until brown and breaking up any large chunks with a spoon.
Step 6: Drain off most of the fat.
Step 7: Place into a casserole dish making a nice layer.
Step 8: Sprinkle on frozen corn
Step 9: Layer the creamed corn on top.
Step 10: Spread the mashed potatoes on top being sure to completely cover the corn layer.
Step 11: Dot with butter
Step 12: Sprinkle a thin dusting of paprika on top of the potatoes.
Step 13: Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 14: The corn layer should bubble slightly around the edges of the potatoes.
