Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 pound whole chicken
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 carrots,sliced
  • 4 celery stalks,sliced
  • 1/2 cup parsley,minced
  • 2 cloves garlic,smashed
  • 1 cup red bell peppers,chopped
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) tomatoes,diced
  • 1 cup onion,minced
  • 8 ounces dry ditalini pasta
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put the chicken broth and chicken

  • Step 2: On to boil with the carrots and celery

  • Step 3: Add the seasoning and the onion garlic and bell pepper

  • Step 4: And cook 60 minutes

  • Step 5: Add tomatoes

  • Step 6: Simmer another 45 minutes until chicken is falling off the bone

  • Step 7: Remove chicken and remove bones and skin .

  • Step 8: While you are doing this

  • Step 9: Boil the pasta in separate pot in heavily salted water until al dente

  • Step 10: Drain and add to soup

  • Step 11: Chop chicken into bite size pieces

  • Step 12: Add back into soup

  • Step 13: Season to taste

  • Step 14: Add parsley last

  • Step 15: Swirl
