  • 3 tablespoons bacon grease
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 ounce corn tortillas,(1)
  • Garnish:
  • 1 green onion,minced
  • 2 ounces queso fresco

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat grease

  • Step 2: Add whole jalapeno

  • Step 3: And tortilla cut in 1/4ths

  • Step 4: Heat until browned

  • Step 5: Remove

  • Step 6: Add beans mash around

  • Step 7: Add broth and onion powder

  • Step 8: Stir until smooth (add more broth if you like you beans runny

  • Step 9: Cook simmering down to desired consistency

  • Step 10: Check for seasoning

  • Step 11: Add salt if needed but I'm not

  • Step 12: Chop jalapeno

  • Step 13: Top beans with cheese and green onion and jalapeno if wanted
