Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 32 ounce jar pomegranate juice, (I use POMS)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 ounce high proof vodka or grain alcohol, optional
  • Red food coloring, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Using medium heat bring pomegranate juice to a boil.

  • Step 2: Once boiling lower heat to medium-low, and let it reduce by half, about 15 minutes. (You can cook it down more to make it thicker if you want to).

  • Step 3: Take off stove and add sugar, mixing it well, so that the sugar dissolves. Add alcohol if using and mix well.

  • Step 4: Let cool, then put in a container and either put it in your refrigerator, or in the freezer (in a plastic container).
