  • 10 ounces frozen spinach
  • 2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons scallions ,minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter,melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic,smashed
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/16 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 6 slices tomato, 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F.

  • Step 2: Cook spinach according to package directions

  • Step 3: Drain well.

  • Step 4: Place spinach, bread crumbs, scallions, egg, melted butter, parmesan cheese, salt, garlic, thyme, black pepper, cayenne and garlic powder in a medium bowl.

  • Step 5: Mix

  • Step 6: Arrange tomato slices in a glass pie plate sprinkle with garlic powder and season salt.

  • Step 7: Spoon about 1/4 cup spinach mixture onto each tomato slice and shape into a dome.

  • Step 8: Bake 15 minutes, or until set and heated through
