Step 1: Mix pistachios, sugar and yolks.
Step 2: Bring half and half to boil;
Step 3: Pour into pistachio mixture.
Step 4: Stir over medium heat until mixture thickens.
Step 5: Do not boil.
Step 6: Strain (if you have no egg bits at the price of pistachios,I wouldn't)
Step 7: Cool.
Step 8: Add cream, coloring and kirsch
Step 9: Freeze in ice cream freezer according to machines instructions
Step 10: Or refrigerator freezer.
