Step 1: In one bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
Step 2: Add eggs and vanilla
Step 3: Then mix well.
Step 4: Set aside.
Step 5: In another bowl, sift flour with baking soda and salt.
Step 6: Add flour mixture to egg mixture.
Step 7: Beat well and fold in nuts.
Step 8: Divide the dough into three portions. Place each of the dough portions on plastic wrap or wax paper and roll into a log that is 2-inches in diameter
Step 9: Wrap the rolls tightly and chill in refrigerator overnight.
Step 10: Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 11: Remove and slice dough into 1/8-inch thick cookies and arrange on ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 12: Bake 7 minutes
