Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1⁄4 cup yellow onion,minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme,minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons fresh rosemary,minced
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/16 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon ground fennel seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley,minced
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons duck fat,melted, at room temperature ,(optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper,to taste
  • 4 ounces hamburger buns,(4 buns)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Garnish:
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices onion
  • 4 leaves butter lettuce

How to Make

  • Step 1: In food processor add ingredients to the duck fat adding ground beef last so doesnt over process

  • Step 2: Process until just smooth and combined not to far

  • Step 3: Make into 4 equal patties

  • Step 4: Punch dimple in the center

  • Step 5: Chill 30 minutes to firm and meld patties

  • Step 6: Take out of fridge

  • Step 7: Season liberally

  • Step 8: Grill on bbq until desired doneness

  • Step 9: They grilled the onion slice

  • Step 10: So lightly brush them (onions)with oil or spray pam on them if your doing it

  • Step 11: Meanwhile butter buns and toast on grill

  • Step 12: Add tomato onion and lettuce to buger
