Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 30 grams butter (or margarine, 1 oz )
  • 1 kilogram whole (portions, 2 pound )
  • 1 pack (45 gram) dry chicken noodle soup (1.52 in ounces)
  • 1 can (425 gram) lychees, undrained (or nearest equivalent size, 10 oz)
  • 1 can (425 gram) crushed pineapple (undrained, 10 oz - or nearest equivalent size)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt the butter in a frying pan and saute the chicken pieces until brown; transfer to a casserole dish.

  • Step 2: Combine the soup mix, lychees, pineapple and soy sauce and pour over the chicken.; Bake at 180C (350) for approx 20 minutes. Combine the cornflour with the water - making sure the mix is smooth with no lumps & stir into the casserole and cook for a further 15-20 minutes.
