We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put cream cheese in a glass dish, and microwave for 30 seconds, until softened.

  • Step 2: Chop the onions finely, and add to cream cheese.

  • Step 3: Add lemon and garlic juice, and mix well.

  • Step 4: Add confectionary sugar, to taste, if using, and mix well. I would start with 1/2 teaspoon.

  • Step 5: Chop the crab finely, or use the blender. Add to cream cheese mixture, and mix in well.

  • Step 6: Place a dollop of mixture into the center of won ton wrappers. You will get 12-16 won tons, depending on how much filling you like. Do not overstuff, or filling will leak out during frying, and make a mess.

  • Step 7: Dip you finger into the water, then rub around the edge of the won ton.

  • Step 8: Seal the wrapper, pressing together with your fingers all around the edge. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the wrapper. Continue with the rest of the won ton wrappers, until all are completed.

  • Step 9: When done, fry in oil, at 350 degrees F, until golden brown.

  • Step 10: Place cooked won tons on a layer of paper towels, to absorb grease, then plate, and serve with your favorite sauce(s) on the side.
