Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/3 cups dry instant rice ( Minute rice instant rice)
  • 1/2 cup margarine (or butter)
  • 1 jar (8 ounce) Cheese Whiz
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 package (9 ounce) frozen broccoli (chopped, or 10 ounce, thawed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt the margarine or butter and place in a medium mixing bowl.

  • Step 2: Stir in the rest of the ingredients in order until well mixed

  • Step 3: Grease a 1-1/2 quart casserole or baking dish and turn the broccoli/cheese mixture into the greased dish.

  • Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

  • Step 5: NOTE: If freezing this dish, Place in freezer after turning into baking dish, cover and freeze for up to 1 month. Can be thawed to room temperature and baked as directed above.
