  • 1 can (15 ounce) cannellini beans (drained)
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup water
  • FOR DRESSING
  • 1/4 cup oil (extra-virgin)
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, minced
  • FOR SALAD
  • 1 cup snow peas (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoons chives (fresh, minced)
  • 3 radish, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons basil (fresh, minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook beans ,bay leaf ,garlic for 10 minutes. Add snow peas last 5 minutes

  • Step 2: Drain any liquid that is still in pan. Remove the bay leaf

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, mix up salad dressing

  • Step 4: Pour 1/2 dressing into hot beans. Let cool

  • Step 5: Add rest of ingredients and then the dressing; toss then chill
