Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened (for best flavor I suggest not to use generic brand Philadelphia Cream Cheese is best)
  • 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely minced red bell pepper
  • 1 large green onion (white and green part) finely chopped
  • 3/4 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (one whole package will be too much spinach)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Louisiana hot sauce, to taste (you could omit the hot sauce if you like)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix first 3 ingredients with hand or stand mixer on medium until softened and well mixed. Mix in bell pepper and onion. Mix in spinach.

  • Step 2: Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish (I use a 9-inch glass pie plate). Top with cheddar, then sprinkle a small amount of hot sauce on top of the cheddar. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbling around the edges. Remove from oven and allow to set for 5 - 7 minutes before serving.
