Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 to 3 cups sea shell pasta or macaroni
  • 1 pound frankfurters (hotdogs)
  • 2 heaping cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle Heinz chili sauce
  • 4 slices of smoky bacon
  • Catsup to moisten if needed
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions, and while pasta cooks, cut up hot dogs on the diagonal, the slices look better.

  • Step 2: Take the drained pasta and mix up with the cut hot dogs and grated cheese, and spoon into a greased casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Pour the entire bottle of Heinz Chili sauce over this. If it seems a little dry add a enough catsup to make moist.

  • Step 4: Then lay the 4 slices of bacon over the top of the casserole and bake uncovered 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 5: You can prepare this ahead of time and reheat. The more this is reheated, the better the flavor.
