Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Step 2: Remove bone from ham.
Step 3: Mix together the mustard and vinegar. Spread the mixture thinly on the ham. Slice apples very thin and spread 2 layers on the thin slices on ham.
Step 4: Sprinkle well with brown sugar.
Step 5: Now roll the ham the long way, starting from the fat side and folding the fat into the center.
Step 6: Hold together with metal butcher skewers.
Step 7: Place in baking pan and put a few dabs of butter on ham roll.
Step 8: Bake in a moderate oven (375) for 25 minutes.
Step 9: Baste 2 or 3 times while baking.
