Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 100 gram bread bun (Turkish roll, 1 roll)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 100 grams grated cheddar cheese (or you could use a mix of your favourite cheeses)
  • 30 grams bacon, diced (cooked crispy, use Canadian style bacon or the eye of the bacon rasher for best results)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pre-heat broiler/grill part of the oven to 180C and put a tray in to heat up.

  • Step 2: Split bread lengthwise to create two sections and spread both with the garlic butter and then sprinkle the cheese on top and then put on the tray in the oven and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and has a little colour.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle cooked bacon pieces on top and serve (you could also cut into one or two bite portions as an appetizer).
